Final Blog

Dear students,

You took the hard way to learn languages. It is exciting journey during which you will become highly educated people.
Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages is something special. You will not have enough time but it's worth it. You will have deal with different creative and interesting projects. You will have the possibility to give interpreting a try and also there are lot of cool stuffs.  One of these kinds is vocabulary class. If you will learn a study material by the heart you will see that this subject is really useful and informative. You will able to work even as director, screenwriter, actor, and journalist. Vocabulary of Modern English is not the exception. Bear in mind that you will have to memorize big amount of new words and collocations, write blog posts using different online tools, make a short video for a vocabulary item on a wordlist you will be given and also do some other kinds of activities for each class. But the main role play only you – the person who want to get an education. It is not necessarily to be a bookworm, but you should pay a great attention to texts, definitions and to diversity of examples to know how use the new words. And it will be easy as a ABC to pass your exams with the flying colors. You need just learn study materials by the heart and don`t play hooky, but to be eager beaver. I want to tell you that good results it is not always mean good marks you have to learn for yourself for your future profession. And always remember that practice makes perfect.

Green Ukraine 2030

Ukrain is faced to many different problems which are connected with environment: the changing weather pattern, deforestation, in some regions flood or drought, pollution by exhaust fumes and desertification. All of it has dire consequences. It can be volcanic eruption, earthquakes and even acid rains.

But if nowadays we have a lot of problems of that kind what can we expect in 2030? I`m sure that my children wouldn’t know about natural reserves or about animals which are on the verge of extinction. To prevent this, the government should worry about public health.

  One more problem is dump waste. Disposal of household waste is a daunting task for local habitants. It is not so easy just dump it away. This process contains many materials and it is time for long-term solution. Also more complex situation relates to toxic waste. We have to find ways to recycle it.

To avoid consequences that will be harmful to the environment in the future government should introduce green taxes. And we should pay attention to energy conservation. Switch to energy-saving eco light bulbs. They emit less heat and last far longer. They are more expensive, but we can greatly reduce your energy consumption. And one more thing to save our natural is don`t use disposable products.

So, if we want to save habitant in our country we must be more responsible and it is absolutely vital to find a solution that will help us use alternative sources of energy.

     

It happens

One man was so lonely and tired of moody London`s streets and exhausted of daily routine. He can`t stand it anymore.  He was a handsome man, good as gold but a little bit selfish. For clarity let`s call him Mr. D. It was hard to get well with somebody for him.  Mr. D never falls madly in love with somebody. He couldn`t pluck up the courage to confess his feelings. His job always comes between private life. He had a feeling that something goes wrong. Mr. D was not a spontaneous and he would like to be happy-go-lucky sort of person. He would like to give some spontaneous trip a try.

One rainy morning Mr. D packed his suitcases, put off his business and set off his journey. He didn`t let know even close friends his plans. Mr. D named random a flight number. It was № 21 – Italy. He was sitting by the window in the plane and dreamed of Italian Dome. The flight was long and got on Mr.’s D nerves. Finally he left the plane. The handsome man wandered the streets and totally forgot about life in London. The only thing that turned him down to earth was the one beautiful girl. She had oval face, straight, long, brown hair, she was not tall, but she had a great figure. Maybe Mr. D idealized her but it was love at first sight. It was his type! Without even thinking, he approached her.

-         Hello! It maybe weird but I can`t wait anymore. I like you very much. I know it`s too fast but I want ask you out to go for dinner with me.

The girl was surprised.

-         Hi! Nice, thank you but how could I know that you are not an awkward customer?

Thank God she speaks English!

-         Actually I can`t guarantee it. I just can swear I`m good person and I really want you to accept my proposal.

-         I never seeking outdoors. I would venture but I'll make an exception. I think you are definitely get some charisma. So I can`t turn this proposal down.

-         It sounds great, I really happy.

They spent a lovely evening in a café. They talked about everything. She was convinced that he has a heart of gold. And he fell in love with her freckles and her kindness. They were crazy about each other and lived long and happy!
